Ireland’s Mikey Pender might only be 20 years-old, yet he remains a force to be reckoned with when it comes to ‘the big red wall’ and some of the most difficult showjumping courses in the world.
Mickey’s knack for ‘the wall has seen him take first in the:
Al Shiraa'a Derby in 2019
London Olympia 2019 CSI5* Puissance
2019 Liverpool Puissance
second in the Dublin Puissance in 2019
Mickey’s current ride, the bay gelding Hearton Du Bois Halleux, at 12 years-old (Nonstop/Toulon) is the perfect partner, with impressive scope when it comes to the larger courses. Over the past few years, Mikey has been a firm favourite on the International UAE circuit, and is expected back this week to prepare for the three-week Al Shiraa’a spectacle, with the most anticipated event being the Al Shiraa'a Puissance.
The event take's place at Al Forsan International Sports Resort
